Hola Spain!
After a great 2-day passage with dolphins along the way, we arrive at the border of Spain and explore this nice town!
-
E. Biscay Bay
We spend several days in harbors waiting for good weather, then hop from one port to the next, enjoying each stop!
-
South Brittany
We sail down along the South Brittany coast, making stops in the lovely towns of Concarneau and Vannes.
-
Onward to Brest
Continuing our journey West along the Brittany coast, we need to backtrack a bit, but then round the cape and arrive in Brest.
-
River Le Trieux
A few days in St. Malo and then on to a lovely mooring up the river Trieux, where we do some projects, rest and relax.
-
Trip to Portugal
Road trip from Saint Malo to Guarda Portugal. Sher has to go to her appointment to apply for her residence permit.
-
To Saint Malo
We anchor and “beach” the boat to clean the bottom, and have a bit of excitement! Then we head into St. Malo
-
Iles Chausey
Only a few rocks visible at high tide and lots of dry land at low tide. We skip the packed holiday-time mooring jungle and anchor.
-
Normandy Coast
From croissants and baguettes in Cherbourg, we stop and wait for good conditions to sail around the cape to Jersey.

To Cherbourg
Our passage into France was 280 nautical miles in 3 days/nights. That’s not fast, but we’re not in a rush… great trip!
