We arrive in the Jerez/Sherry region of Andalucia Spain and visit San Lucar de Barrameda, then work our way up the Guadalquivir river!

Huelva
We’re back in Spain now! We spend some time near Huelva and enjoy the wonderful flamboyance of flamingos in the estuary, and more!

SE Algarve
On our way eastbound along the Algarve coast. We spend a few days in Alvor, then on to Culatra near Faro… the last stop in Portugal!

Boatyard III
Still here, but getting a LOT done! From top (wind generator) to bottom (transducer), and from bow (anchor chain) to stern (prop)!

Still in the boatyard with lots more to do and taking (as always) longer than planned… see what happens during our haul-out and projects.

Time for our girl to get some maintenance done. We’re in the boatyard for a week (we hope not longer) to do some work that requires holes in the bottom!

This is how it all started…
Thanks to Lovesail.com, a dating and social-networking website for people passionate about sailing, two avid sailors and full-time live-aboard cruisers from different countries halfway around the world (who were otherwise unlikely to have ever met), found each other. And so began the journey to share love and life, and fulfill their dreams together!
Dione IV first gets some enhancements and spa treatments in the boat yard, and then we sail off into the sunset!….
