Our passage into France was 280 nautical miles in 3 days/nights. That’s not fast, but we’re not in a rush… great trip!

After inland waterways, locks and bridges, it’s time to head to the open sea and salt water… North Sea, here we come!

On to Amsterdam, our home port! We have a good crossing, anchor two nights, then stay at Sixhaven marina.

This is how it all started…
Thanks to Lovesail.com, a dating and social-networking website for people passionate about sailing, two avid sailors and full-time live-aboard cruisers from different countries halfway around the world (who were otherwise unlikely to have ever met), found each other. And so began the journey to share love and life, and fulfill their dreams together!
Dione IV first gets some enhancements and spa treatments in the boat yard, and then we sail off into the sunset!….
