Boatyard II
Still in the boatyard with lots more to do and taking (as always) longer than planned… see what happens during our haul-out and projects.

Boatyard I
Time for our girl to get some maintenance done. We’re in the boatyard for a week (we hope not longer) to do some work that requires holes in the bottom!

Rio de Alvor
We enjoyed the beautiful (very shallow) estuary and river of Alvor… flamingos, nice village, great Pastel de Nata, and beautiful views!

Portimão II
Still in Portimão and in the marina for the holidays. Lots of celebrating and good cheer, projects, and more projects, and storks, of course!

We are here in Portimao for the holidays. Storks feature prominently in the landscape and we take advantage of being in the marina for projects.

To Portimão
Time to head south! We take a few days to sail from Lisbon to Portimao on the south coast of Portugal in the Algarve region. Good weather and sailing!

Lisbon – Part II
Oeiras: Scooter rides, the Palácio with its gardens and Carcavelos wine. Chestnuts, holiday lights, projects, travel, and a broken tooth.

Lisbon – Part I
We are in the Lisbon area for a month or more, enjoying all that our “city of love” has to offer… including our favorite: Castro’s Pastel de Nata.

Porto to Lisbon
Porto to Lisbon is 3 day sails away, and there’s a hurricane coming across the Atlantic. But Figueira do Foz is a safe harbor to hide along the way!

An amazing few weeks in Porto! Tasting/buying delicious port, visiting with friends, and the highlight… our trip to Quinta da Devesa!
