On to the next Ria south… Ria de Arousa, where we meet back up with cruising friends and enjoy the lovely location.

Western Rias
We explore the western-most part of Spain and sail la Costa da Morte (coast of death), rounding Cape Finisterre. We made it alive!

A Coruña
A few days in the city, walking through the old town, scootering along the shore, and Sher waving at departing cruise ships.

Sada
We are at the marina in Sada, then go anchor at Redes nearby, but strong winds and dragging anchor bring us back to Sada.

Ferrol
We start exploring the Rias of A Coruna in Ferrol. It is beautiful here and we enjoy anchoring and the marina for Easter.

Manoliño!
Meet Manoliño, the celebrity dolphin of Galicia! He is a friendly fellow… he visited daily to play with our anchor chain!

This is how it all started…
Thanks to Lovesail.com, a dating and social-networking website for people passionate about sailing, two avid sailors and full-time live-aboard cruisers from different countries halfway around the world (who were otherwise unlikely to have ever met), found each other. And so began the journey to share love and life, and fulfill their dreams together!
Dione IV first gets some enhancements and spa treatments in the boat yard, and then we sail off into the sunset!….
