Overview

Dione IV is a custom designed and built steel ketch-rigged pilot-house sailing yacht from Koopmans, the famous Dutch naval architects and yacht designers. She is unique in that the hull was designed by Dick Koopmans Sr. and the deck salon was designed by his son, Dick Jr. This was the first time they had done a collaborative design, normally they each did their own complete creations, and the result is a stunning, solid, and very comfortable cruising vessel.

Dione IV is suited for all latitudes with robust heating and a light airy pilot house deck salon for protection from the elements. She is also versatile for all waters, including very shallow places and drying out at low tide, with her swing (lifting) keel/centerboard.
